Meet The Hygienists
Patrice “Patti” Johnston is originally from Long Island, NY. She graduated from SUNY at Farmingdale in 1988 with her dental hygiene degree. That same year she got married to her husband, Rob. After moving to Ocean Isle Beach, she started working for Dr Deeb and Dr Fanning in March of 1992. Patti just celebrated her 30th anniversary at our dental practice! Patti and Rob have a grown daughter and son. They love to travel, hike, cook, and spend time with family and friends that are special to them.
Lindy Clark has been a dental hygienist for the past 17 years and joined the staff at Deeb & Fanning, DDS over 13 years ago. She graduated with an Associate in Dental Hygiene from Cape Fear Community College and is a Brunswick County native. Lindy loves spending quality time with her family and friends and has a passion for helping others.
Monica Raywood started her career as an education major at Appalachian State University and then in 1989 graduated with a degree from Rowan Cabarrus College as a Nationally Certified DANB dental assistant. After working as a dental assistant for 8 years, Monica went to back to school and earned her dental hygiene degree in 2000 from Central Piedmont College. Throughout her 33 years in dentistry, Monica has volunteered at many mobile dental bus clinics, school screenings, school dental health presentations, and at Missions of Mercy events. She loves traveling, the beach, and spending time with her six grandchildren.
Melissa Gaul graduated from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte and has been a dental hygienist for over 33 years. Originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, she lived in the Charlotte area for over 40 years before moving to Little River, SC. Melissa has two grown sons, Landon and Bryant, who both still reside in Charlotte. Melissa is passionate about her job as a dental hygienist, but when she’s not at work, she and her husband John enjoy boating, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
Marinda Angel is a local native from Conway, SC and has been a dental hygienist for over 20 years. She graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in health promotion and a dental hygiene degree from Horry Georgetown Technical College. Away from work, Marinda loves boating, fishing, gardening, and everything to do with the outdoors and all her animals.
