We take an impression (ordigital scan) of your teeth, and a dental lab uses that to fabricate a guardshaped precisely to your bite. At your fitting appointment, we check the fitand adjust the bite so pressure is distributed evenly across your teeth ratherthan concentrated on a few spots.
